As parents, there are few decisions more important than where and how our children are educated. Choosing Living Oaks has been one of the most meaningful decisions our family has made, and we don’t say that lightly.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of watching Teddy and Knox grow both academically and emotionally. Living Oaks has nurtured not only their minds but also their character, confidence, and curiosity about the world. It’s a place where learning feels alive, and where creativity, nature, and thoughtful guidance come together to shape the whole child.

What makes Living Oaks so special is the intentionality behind everything: the teachers who truly know and care for each child, the emphasis on connection to each other and to the natural world, and the commitment to developing capable, grounded, and thoughtful human beings.

Living Oaks is a small, independent school built from the ground up by teachers, families, and a community who believe deeply in a Waldorf-inspired approach to education. In just five short years, something truly special has taken root, and it’s now up to all of us to help it grow.

Schools like Living Oaks don’t just happen. They are built by people who believe in them, show up for them, and invest in them. That’s why we volunteered to be the first family to help launch our brand-new Annual Fund Program.

The Annual Fund provides important support from families and our extended community to help bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of running the school. Tuition covers the basics, but the Annual Fund allows Living Oaks to thrive by helping us retain exceptional teachers, enhance programming, care for the campus, and continue offering the kind of thoughtful, hands-on education that makes this place so unique.

The Annual Fund will help sustain Living Oaks throughout the year, and it’s an investment not just in today’s students, but in the children and families who will be part of this community for years to come.
